Identec's loop reader for "genuine" touch-free card. CR1 is used in installations where you want quick and easy reading of cards without the need to bring the card to the reader. The card may remain in the pocket, but it will be registered when it passes an access point. Identecs Census readers use active cards / tags and are distinguished by being able to read many cards at a time. The reading rate is 55 cards per second. RF communication between card and reader is encrypted, to increase security and exclude error reading. The error rate is below 1: 1,000,000. Using loop reader with external antenna, the reading distance can be increased to 3 meters. The reader is supplied with various outputs. Cards and tags have an indication of low battery voltage.
